Artist of the Week - Richard Avedon

                                                      

                                                    1. How is the technical quality? 

The technical quality of the image is very sharp and clear. The black and white images that he takes gives the photo a vintage look. Seems like he uses a film camera to captures these photos. The colors make the image have a background story and they give it that natural look.

2. How’s the composition? 

In each image the colors on the shots are very balanced and clear. And the point of view of where the picture is taken is in the correct spot because he uses light and other things around him and implants it into his shot to make it 10* better looking. 

                   3. Does the photographer tell a story? 

Richard Avedon photography is taken in a vintage form and most of his pictures are black and white. Her pictures are very clean and the colors that he chooses make everything pop out and has a rich feeling to it.

4.) Did the photographer connect with his subjects or do they look tense, posed ?

The models in the pictures look very natural and show no feeling. They seem to look tense, but their body is very free.

                        5. What do you find interesting about his work? 

When looking at Richard Avedon images I can assume that he loves to take black and white shots. And pictures show the beautiful vintage feel.
