Zoopraxiscope: An early device which creates moving images by projecting images on a spinning disc. Kinetoscope: An early motion picture device that works by playing back a loop of film through a peephole viewing window. Chronophotograph: A device that is used to take a series of photographs in rapid succession in order to study the motion of a subject.
